Nollywood actress, Mide Martins paid a tribute to her late mother, Funmi Martins on Saturday, praizemedia report.
In an Instagram post, the talented actress stated that her mother died 21 years ago and she misses her every day. Describing her late mother as her best friend, Mide added that she prays her mother’s memories would linger on.

The late Funmi Martins was a talented actress who was loved by a lot of viewers. She started her career in 1993; she featured in her first movie titled Nemesis directed by Fidelis Duker. During her career, Funmi Martins featured in a lot of movies. Some of her most notable works include Eto Mi, Pelumi, Ija Omode, Eru Eleru and many others. Funmi Martins’ first Yoruba movie was done under the tutelage of veteran actor, Alhaji Adebayo Salami, widely known as Oga Bello.
The late Funmi Martins would not be forgotten in a hurry. She was born in September 1963 and died on the 6th of May 2002. She was a shining star in the movie industry during her life time.
The actress was known for her beauty and charm in the movie industry.
